This past holiday season, my wife and I were fortunate to visit our daughter in New Zealand. This beautiful country rivals Canada with its spectacular scenery, appearing around every corner, albeit in a much smaller package. The natives are very friendly! It was a great vacation experience.
For those with British accents, I gathered with good friends to commemorate Robert Burns Day, on Saturday January 25th. We celebrated in style, with bagpipes honouring the entry of the Haggis. Although very delicious, haggis is not for everyone!
For those history buffs amongst us, Hadrians Wall was built by the Romans, to keep the Picts in the north of the British Isles. The Irish claim the Scots are the Irish that could not swim!
Sincerely,
Neil Mathieson
