Margaret Janecki, Independent Financial Advisor and Now a Certified Elder Planning Counsellor
She takes a holistic overview of the clients’ current scenario and goals before she recommends a prescription to their specific solution.
As a financial consultant, her strength is in communications between members of multi-generation families, yet still maintaining their respective privacy issues.
With her kind and diplomatic approach, she successfully pulls family members together to discuss sensitive issues concerning Wills, Powers of Attorneys, investments, family discourse and getting to the heart of their needs.
Recently, Margaret was recognized as “Top Advisor” in sales by both Equitable Life Insurance Company and the Real Wealth Group.
Earlier this year, she received certification as an Elder Planning Counsellor. The EPC designation is awarded upon successful completion of a course of study that looks at the unique needs, wants and issues of today and tomorrow’s elder population, as they move through their retirement years, from being independent to becoming dependent.
This latest certification enables her to provide her clients, with the solid financial advice, empathy and understanding they need.
Margaret feels it is important to recognize the need to find the right plan to cover their health care needs during retirement. The years just before or after retirement are especially vulnerable since what happens during this time can impact the success of a retirement plan. It is very important to understand how a serious illness could impact you financially. Margaret can help you clearly understand the impact and together you can customize a plan that will help protect your assets from the unexpected.
Margaret is a mother of three, and lives in Cambridge where she enjoys baking and crafts with her grandchildren. Currently, she is learning to play golf and enjoys taking long walks with her four legged buddy Coco, and listening to classical pop music.
