For many of us, the beginning of each New Year marks the time that we become more reflective about many aspects of our lives. After a season of “Making Merry”, we tend to think more about our goals, such as health and exercise. One aspect of our lives which we should also review is our Financial Health.
Typically Financial Plans should be reviewed annually. The start of the New year is a great time to review your life and the changes you may have gone through during the preceding year. It is a great time to adjust your plan in case you have experienced life changing events. Examples of these would be changes in employment or becoming self-employed, purchasing a home, getting married or divorced, or having a baby or raising grandchildren, or sadly, the death of a spouse or family member.
Now is the time to start your plan or get your existing one tailored to reflect the changes in your life.
